It appears residents paid former employees directly for another commuity-operated program. Checks were written out to employees' family members with no backup documentation to support the expense.
It appears personal purchases such as clothing was purchased through the company credit card and Costco account.
(Other findings:)
Missing records regarding events and activities held by Las Sendas. These records would have included information on revenue received, expenses paid, and attendees' lists for each event. These records should have been maintained in the normal course of business.
Las Sendas policy regarding hiring relatives was not followed.
Multiple timesheets were not signed by the employees. It appears the timecards were filled out completely by a former supervisor and submitted.
There appear to be multiple employees who received extra payroll in addition to their salary for programs worked during regular business hours.
Over a hundred credit card transactions are missing receipts and supporting documentation.
Above the smog and with completed Loop 202 service to Phoenix, Chandler, etc.
